Rules

We require all guests to read these rules. As we are an outdoor facility throughout, we require you to take extra care around the spa, these rules are to help provide a safe, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for all while using our facilities. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. By entering our spa you are agreeing to and acknowledging them as such.

• Our main house rule is to keep noise level to a minimum. We realise it can be hard to hear each other over the bubbling tub, we also realise how cold the ice bath is but we aim to provide a soothing and relaxing experience to everyone. In particular, for the sake of those in treatment. We are a state of the art luxury spa, not a social hub. If you cannot comply with our requests to keep the noise down, you WILL be asked to leave. No refunds will apply.
• When entering our grounds please park your vehicles to the rear of farmfield house itself. Please do not obstruct the roadway/ access to front of the house/ entrance to the spa grounds itself.
• You are required to come 15 minutes earlier than your designated appointment time for treatments and packages. This is to allow time for guided tour, filling out consultation forms and getting changed into robes. If you arrive late, you're treatment time may be cut, this out out of our control as our therapists must abide to scheduled treatment times.
• No smoking or naked flames on the grounds of the spa.
• No touching any of the fires/ heating equipment, leave that to the professionals.
• Thermal use is STRICTLY NOT ADVISED during pregnancy.
• No inappropriate activity/ behaviour. This is strictly enforced and you will be asked to leave immediately without refund.
• Individuals which make inappropriate requests to our therapist, exhibit physical or verbal harassment/ threats towards staff will be asked to leave the premises and Gardaí will be called. No refunds will apply.
• Please pay close attention when filling out consultation forms to ensure they are accurately filled out with attention to detail where required. This is very important as we cannot be held responsible for problems arising from contra-indications which were not informed to us by means of these forms.
• Be wary of slippery surfaces, steps and uneven surfaces. We are a mostly outdoor facility with many buildings with steps, handrails are provided throughout so please use them if in doubt.
• Do not remove footwear whilst using the sauna, the tiles can be very hot. Do not touch the stones/ metal cage surrounding our sauna stones, you WILL burn yourself.
• Do not alter hot tub settings or remove thermometers/ chlorine bottles from water.
• It is advised not to spend longer than 15 minutes in either the hot tubs or sauna without a break due to risk of heat stroke, the onus is on you to determine how long you spend in each and effects that may occur if our advice is ignored.
• Seaweed baths are set at a temperature of 40 degrees celcius to begin, if the temperature is too hot/cold or uncomfortable for your personal preference, you can cool/heat them down/up via the bath taps, this is shown to guests prior by a member of staff.
• Any injury/ incident should be immediately reported to a member of staff.
• No unauthorized access to our alpaca enclosure or to areas which are clearly not part of the spa facilities or areas designated for staff-only.
• Please do not attempt to feed any animals in or around the grounds of Farmfield Spa / Farmfield House unless instructed to do so by a member of staff.
• Do not attempt to move, alter, adjust or take any placed or movable object in the facility without authorization from a member of staff.
• Do not take home robes or towels. These are property of Farmfield Spa Escapes and you will be fined for robes/towels which are not returned. (This does not apply to flip-flops which are provided at a cost of €3 per pair.)
• In the event of a fire, the facilities will be evacuated. Please exit through the main gate to the tarmac parking area immediately and await further instruction.
• Farmfield house itself is not accessible to ANY guests, the spa is separate to our home, please show respect in this regard.

Farmfield Spa staff reserve the right to refuse entry without reason. In the event of failing to comply with requests to leave the grounds, you will be deemed to be trespassing on private property and Gardaí will be notified. Any attempt of theft in regards to any property belonging to Farmfield House or Farmfield Spa / Farmfield Spa Escapes will be taken very seriously. Any such case will be pursued and the individual/ individuals responsible will be prosecuted.

Cancellation policy:

Deposit payments are fully non-refundable throughout, no exceptions. If more than 5 days (groups of 4 or more persons - 7 days) notice prior to appointment is given, deposits can be transferred to another date, this is a one-time exception and cannot be carried multiple times. Thermal use bookings must give minimum 48 hours notice to change date, groups of 4 or more for thermal must give minimum of 5 days notice. If appointment is being booked by use of gift voucher, a €50 holding deposit is withdrawn from the balance of the voucher and is used to secure the booking. If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours or in the event of a no-show, payment in its entirety will be deducted/ charged. In the case of gift vouchers, this will be deducted from the balance of the voucher. In the case of a standard booking, the remaining balance will be charged to you via payment link, if you fail to pay the remaining balance, future bookings will not be permitted for the individual in question.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. Information contained in any form / email exchanged between you and Forest Lake View Ltd. T/A Farmfield Spa Escapes and any attachments may be considered privileged or confidential and intended for the exclusive use of the original recipient or staff of Farmfield Spa.
